Absolute Mag™ Plain Silica Magnetic Particles, 0.96 µm (# SMP-UM39) are paramagnetic particles prepared by incorporating iron oxide nanoparticles into the nanoporous silica network with a modified sol-gel method. The particle surface is rich in carboxyl groups, but these carboxyl groups cannot be used in subsequent reactions. These particles with high monodispersity (CV: 5.2%), high magnetic response, high colloidal stability.

Application Notes
The particles are excellent for cell separation, nucleic acid isolation, biomolecule purification and particle-based immunoassays.
