Absolute Mag™ PEG-NH2 Magnetic Polystyrene Particles, 10 µm (# WHM-G136) are monodisperse magnetic particles, consisting of magnetite around an organic matrix of a polystyrene polymer, and finally coated with a polymer layer for the encapsulation of magnetite. These particles are designed with PEG-NH2 groups on the surface for the covalent binding of proteins, antibodies or other molecules by glutaraldehyde activation. These magnetic particles can easily be separated with a conventional permanent magnet. Standard deviation: < 10 % (C.V.).
