Absolute Mag™ Oxidized PEI25-CAN-Fe2O3 Magnetic Nanoparticles, 124.1 nm (# CAN-FN04)are based on CAN-Fe2O3 nanoparticles with oxidized 25 KDa branched polyethyleneimine (PEI25) decorated, which makes the particles coated by a novel amine shell and the toxicity was reduced due to a amine species oxidation. The particles have a orthogonal surface chemistry/engineering for drugs and polymers. It has been innovatively applied in gene silencing together with MRI tracking features. PDI is about 0.3.
