Absolute Mag™ Carboxyl Silica Magnetic Particles, 1.11 µm (# SMP-UM40) are paramagnetic particles prepared by incorporating iron oxide nanoparticles into the nanoporous silica network with a modified sol-gel method, and carboxylated for binding biomolecules. These particels have high monodispersity (CV: 7.0%), spherical shape, high magnetic response, high colloidal stability as well as high binding capacity.

Application Notes
The particles are excellent for cell separation, nucleic acid isolation, biomolecule purification and particle-based immunoassays.
