Absolute Mag™ Amine Magnetic Nanoparticles, Dextran Coated, Fluorescent Red, 100 nm (# WHF-G117) are prepared via the core-shell method with a core of magnetite and a shell of crosslinked dextran. These nanoparticles are designed with amino groups on the surface for the covalent binding of proteins, antibodies or other molecules. These magnetic nanoparticles can be separated with a conventional permanent magnet. These particles have a red fluorescence (excitation: 552 nm, emission: 580 nm).They are supplied in PBS buffer (pH = 7.4) without any surfactants. Polydispersity index: < 0.2.

Application Notes
The amino group can be used for sulfo-smcc chemistry to attached antibody with directed orientation.
