Absolute Mag™ Amine Magnetic Dextran Nanoparticles, Fluorescent Red, 20 nm (# WHM-C156) are prepared by precipitation of iron oxide in the presence of dextran with NH2 groups on the surface. These nanoparticles with DY-555 dye show a red fluorescence (excitation: 547 nm, emission: 572 nm). These nanoparticles can not be separated with a conventional permanent magnet but in a high gradient magnetic field. The particles are supplied in PBS buffer with a density of 1.4 g/ccm. The particles are cluster-typed with polydispersity index < 0.2.
