Absolute Mag™ Oligo(dT)25 Magnetic Particles (# WHM-L037) are uniform superparamagnetic particles with oligo dT sequences covalently coupled to the particle surface. Relying on base-pairing between the poly A tail of messenger RNA and the oligo dT sequences, these particles are designed for the rapid isolation of highly purified, intact mRNA from eukaryotic total RNA or directly from crude extracts of cells, animal and plant tissues. And the isolated mRNA can be used directly in most downstream applications in molecular biology.

Application Notes
Absolute Mag™ Oligo(dT)25 Magnetic Particles are the ideal mRNA purification method prior to cDNA library construction. Use of these beads ensures the highest recovery and enrichment of the transcriptome. These beads capture more of the transcriptome than is possible with methods that integrate a total RNA isolation step upstream of mRNA isolation. And the isolated mRNA is suitable for all downstream molecular applications, including gene cloning, cDNA synthesis, cDNA library construction, RT-PCR, quantitative RT-PCR, RPA (Ribonuclease Protection Assay), subtractive hybridization, primer extension, SAGE, RACE, and others.
