|A: These particles are delivered in aqueous suspension without any surfactants. They are extremely stable in organic solvents and in aqueous buffers and not stable in hydrofluoric acid, strong basic media, e.g. 6 M NaOH. The silica particles with diameters 20 um can easily be separated by simple sedimentation or centrifugation so it's easy to take out a defined bead concentration via pipette. You can use rollers to keep them in suspension.|
