SpecNano™ Carboxyl Gold Nanoclusters, Tiopronin, 3.0 nm (Cat# NI-NC04) terminated by carboxylic acid groups are highly stable in aqueous media and they can be used to immobilize covalently biomolecules (antibodies, proteins, peptides, aminated molecules) by formation of stable amide bonds with primary amines. Tiopronin monolayer-protected gold clusters are water-soluble gold nanoparticles which means that can be repeatedly isolated and redissolved.
