Absolute Mag™ Biotin Magnetic Particles, 1.0-1.4 μm (# WHM-S169) are magnetic particles prepared by covalent coupling of biotin to polystyrene particles. They have strong affinities for avidin, streptavidin, and neutravidin tagged proteins. Therefore, these particles can be used when avidin, streptavidin or neutravidin is bound to proteins or oligonucleotides in immunoassay or molecular diagnostics.
