Hydrophobe Magnetic Particles

Hydrophobic magnetic particles are useful tool for the magnetic separation of biomolecules based on interactions of externalhydrophobic regions of proteins, peptides, enzymes or nucleic acids. To increase the hydrophobicity of magnetic beads, alkyl chains with different length are attached to the surface of beads, which including methyl (C1), ethyl (C2), propyl (C3), octyl (C8), Octadecyl(C18).
